JENOPTIK Optical Systems, LLC is a Florida corporation formed in July 2009 by the merger of Coastal Optical Systems (Jupiter, FL) and Liebmann Optical Systems (Easthampton, MA). In January 2010, MEMS Optical and JENOPTIK Polymer Systems, Inc. were merged into the company. Manufacturing facilities are maintained in Jupiter, FL and Huntsville, AL.

ITAR Compliance

JENOPTIK AG (Jena, Germany) acquired Liebmann in 1999 and Coastal in 2002.  As a US subsidiary of a foreign corporation, JENOPTIK Optical Systems, LLC meets all requirements of ITAR as a US supplier.

Quality Assurance & ISO Certification

Liebmann and Coastal were ISO 9001:2000 certified at the time of the merger in July 2009. Both facilities have passed quality audits of defense contractors such as Lockheed Martin, Ball Aerospace, Northrop Grumman, L3 Communications and Boeing along with commercial customer in demanding fields such as life sciences and semiconductor equipment.
