The flexibility of our technologies processes make it possible for JENOPTIK Microoptics to manufacture unique microoptics in a variety of materials. Infrared Region: Wavelengths 700 nm - 14 µm

UV Region: Wavelengths 190 nm - 400 nm

The ultra-violet wavelength region is of increasing importance, as many optical applications require shorter wavelengths. This is the case of micro-lithography, where the need for shorter wavelengths is critical to achieve finer detail resolutions. In the medical field UV light is being used in laser radiation for non-invasive and eye surgery. We can provide our customers with the right microoptical solution to match the high accuracy requirements of this region.

Visible Region: Wavelengths 400 nm - 700 nm

The visible wavelength region of the electro-magnetic spectrum is a relatively narrow band defined by the sensitivity of the human eye. There are many instruments that we use in every day life that utilize visible light for reproduction of colors, finer resolution, and precise measurements. Cameras, printers, barcode scanners, microscopes, and telescopes are some of the systems using the visible spectrum.
